I read an article on climate and sea levels and how we’re on the brink of chaos, point-of-no-return climate change. I thought the article was filled with fearmongering and ignorance, so I wrote a comment. It was refused. I guess having an opinion is no longer allowed unless you dumb it down to the point of uselessness, because if you disagree with any of their beliefs, you get shut down.

Here is my comment. I stand by every word written. And I might add that I am sick and tired of being assumed stupid. Not just me, but everyone who has a different viewpoint is probably fed to the teeth with it, too.

More fearmongering.  Do you honestly think that piddly ol’ human beings can stabilize the EARTH’S CLIMATE? The Earth does not bow to US. Nature does what it does.  Climate changes over the centuries.  Always has.  If these “scientists” actually looked at the big picture AND reported the truth, we wouldn’t be having all this panic over nothing.  The real truth here is that some dollar-minded polititions figured out how to get stinking rich by terrorizing the rest of us “poor underlings.”  WE can read, you know.  But unfortunately, too many people rely on “the experts.”

If you REALLY believe in climate change and all the horrors you spout, why don’t YOU step up to the plate first?  Get rid of your personal gasoline engines–you know, all those cars, boats, jets.  Take public transit like the rest of us. I’ve never seen it happen yet.  And I doubt I ever will.  But you want the rest of us to give up modern modes of travel, cooking, staying warm in winter and cool in summer.    If you can’t stand up and do what you demand the rest of us to do, then please stop talking.  Just stop.  Actions will ALWAYS speak louder than words, and you have no actions.  Just hollow words.

PS And you people who speak in horror about rising sea levels and yet go ahead and buy or build multi-million-dollar mansions on Martha’s Vinyard and such places?  Stop being such hypocritical phonies.
